Gender Reveal Party

It's been a little over a week since we shared the fabulous news that it's ribbons and pearls in our future - and lots & lots of pink of course. So, without further ado, here are some photos from the fabulous afternoon with friends and family.

It's not a party without dessert!

 Lemonade Bar!

We asked our friends and family to suggest names

And pick a team: Beau or Bow

It's time for the reveal! Team Beau gets a blue balloon and Team Bow gets pink

Blowing up balloons to see what Baby Mac will be

Sneaky me ... I cut holes in the blue balloons so only the pink ones would inflate!

It's official: Baby Mac is a Girl!

Team Bow

Positioning those balloons was more awkward than it should have been haha

The Shipley Family
The McIntosh Family

The ladies! So lucky to have such incredible friends (a few are missing due to work and marathon running!)

A big thank you to my In-Laws for opening their home to us for the party and for all their help getting it put together!

We seriously have the best families. We count ourselves lucky to be so blessed and there will certainly be no shortage of love for our baby girl. Thanks to everyone for coming to celebrate both in person and virtually!

  1. How did you cut holes in the balloons so that they wouldn't notice till they tried to blow them up?

  2. I cut a very small slit between the base and where the balloon rounds out. The slit doesn't need to be very big at all. I did wait to handout balloons until right before everyone was to blow them up, so even if they did notice (which I don't think anyone did) the reveal was already taking place. You may be able to disguise it more by cutting at the bottom of the base next to the rolled up latex ...

Show some love!
